Ducati Malaysia announced the news through its social media channel. The team celebrated the Ducati Panigale V4 SP’s first owner Afiq Azhar.

Also present during the limited edition model handover session were Ducati Malaysia General Manager Dennis Michael and Ducati Penang Director Kheoh Hock Seng.

The Ducati Panigale V4 SP 2021 is a model that gets an injection of inspiration from the Superleggera V4.

The Ducati Panigale V4 SP is a performance-focused version of the Panigale on the racing circuit with several recent improvements including colour options inspired by the MotoGP Winter Test and WorldSBK.

The use of carbon fibre rims also contributes to the lighter overall weight, only 173 kilograms. It is 1.4kg lighter than the ‘forged aluminium’ rims found on the Panigale V4 S.

Not only that, some features that were previously only available on the Superleggera V4 were also brought to this V4 SP. Such includes the EVO SDM Superbike dry clutch, Brembo Stylema R brake calliper and MCS Master cylinder with ‘remote adjuster’.

This model still offers an electronic package like other Panigale but now comes with Ducati Traction Control (DTC) from Ducati Corse.

Each purchase will also come with a special racing kit for the racing circuit including a Ducati Data Analyzer with GPS module, open-type clutch cover as well as a side mirror removal kit and number plate holder.
