Zero Motorcycles has unveiled its latest ‘Quickstrike’ e-bike with a total of 100 units on offer globally. The limited-edition bike is based on the company’s 2019 Pikes Peak international Hillclimb factory race bike, the Zero SR/F.

The Quickstrike features several carbon fibre components and a few styling revisions.

The Quickstrike comes with a matte black theme for its exterior. The dark aesthetic fits the unit beautifully and highlights its compartments at perfect angles.

Zero Motorcycles adequately showcased the bike’s black aluminium flyscreen, black anodised lever guards and black anodised mirrors. In the front and rear, the bike comes with smoked lens LED turn signals and carbon fibre mudguards. Topping the Quickstrike off is the tank badge, lapel pin indicating the limited production run and the swingarm spools.

Powering the bike is the Z-Force ZF75-10 electric motor that is capable of producing a maximum power of 110 hp at 5,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 189 Nm. It has a maximum speed of 200 kmph.

The ZF 14.4 lithium-ion battery pack has a maximum capacity of 14.4 kWh. It takes about 4.5 hours to get a 100 per cent charge via a 3kW charger. It is chargeable via DC too. In this case, the 100 per cent charge time doubles to 8.5 hours and 95 per cent charge in 8 hours.

The Quickstrike weighs 220 kg and has a seat height of 787 mm.

With a price tag of Zero Motorcycles is USD 999 (RM 4,159), it is much more affordable compared to the SR/F that is priced at USD 31,945 (RM91,378).
