Miguel Oliveira tested KTM X-Bow GTX

Invited by Hubert Trunkenpolz to take part in the 24 Hours of Barcelona at the controls of a competitive and fast KTM X-Bow GTX, Miguel Oliveira fulfilled yesterday, at the same circuit where last June 6th he achieved his third victory in the MotoGP world, a journey of private tests. This session was open to the entire peloton that will start the races on Saturday. A day where, above all, the driver sought to discover his competition vehicle for this first race on a circuit behind the wheel of a car.

‘It was, above all, a very fun first day, of discovery and at the same time of new sensations. I had a little bit of everything, from spins to little touches, but also a lot of driving pleasure on the controls of this fantastic X-Bow. It’s totally different to be locked in a car’s cabin, barely able to move your head and see little to the outside, but I loved the potential that this KTM has, in terms of engine and braking. With the help of my teammates and coaches, I know that tomorrow I will improve even more. But above all I want to have fun and make the most of this invitation, which left me very honored’ , commented the Portuguese driver. With no worries in terms of lap times, the whole team came together so that the KTM Factory Racing driver quickly felt comfortable driving a prototype with over 500 horsepower maximum and just over a ton in weight. A totally new world, but where the pilot from Almada felt at home from the first moment.
