It’s official, Boon Siew Honda has finally unveiled the 2021 Honda CBR150R for the Malaysian market.

The Honda CBR150R bears similarities to the CBR250RR but with big-bike parts and an affordable price. The two bikes are similar in terms of their front headlight setup. The design draws you in with its sporty look and vibe.

The bike features all-new LED lights from front to back, Dual LED Headlights. This amplifies the modern appeal whereas the fully digital speedometer display emphasises the sporty look.

Powering the bike is a 150cc single-cylinder DOHC PGM-Fi engine with CBR “Total Control” DNA. It is capable of producing approximately 16hp (12kW) at 9,000rpm and 14.4Nm of torque at 7,000rpm.

Paired with a six-speed manual transmission with an assist/slipper clutch, all the power goes to the rear wheel.

Furthermore, the CBR150R features upside/down front forks just like the CBR250RR. This is common in entry-level bikes these days. Not to mention, the bike comes with a dual-channel ABS model and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) to enhance safety.

According to BSH, the 2021 CBR150R comes in two colour choices: Matte Charcoal Gray Metallic and Candy Scintillate Red.

The 2021 Honda CBR150R is available at a price tag of RM12,499.
