Just recently, the Malaysian Department of Road Transport (JPJ) had announced that vehicle owners can renew their driving license and their expired road taxes by 30 September 2021 latest. Enforcement by the police will be in place to ensure road users are in compliance with the rules starting 1st October 2021.

Pos Malaysia outlets have resumed counter services for license and road tax renewals nationwide starting from 9th August 2021. However, due to the current situation with the pandemic, Pos Malaysia has stated that they will be accepting walk-ins to prevent overcrowding.

All road users to renew their road tax and driving license by September 30 2021.

As such, users will have to make appointments online. This can be done via the Pos Malaysia website or on the Pos Malaysia app. Users who have not downloaded the app can do so via Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei App Gallery.

Once you have downloaded the app, all you need to do is follow four simple steps:

  1. Under the outlet finder, you will be able to see a link below the address of your chosen post office branch.
  2. Click the link and you should be able to view the appointment page.
  3. You may select your service of choice as well as the date and time (subject to availability).
  4. Input your contact details and your appointment is set.
