Lowes is fourth in the championship with 116 points less than Jonathan Rea, six times world champion and his teammate, at a stage in which he completed five of the 13 rounds planned for this year.

Note: The contract linking Alex Lowes to Kawasaki could go beyond 2022. As the official Kawasaki team’s WSBK page later indicated, this connection between both parties goes beyond 2022 without specifying any temporal spectrum. However, according to Guim Roda, KRT manager, the pilot’s contract is for two years, which leaves Alex Lowes at Kawasaki until 2023.
