Redesigned CFMoto 250NK Spotted

Redesigned CFMoto 250NK Spotted

Redesigned next-generation CFMoto 250NK has just been spotted on Chinese type-approval documents. Here is everything you need to know about the latest leak!

Currently, CFMoto offers an impressive range of motorcycles and ATVs in many parts of the world including Malaysia. Speaking of Malaysia, one of the most popular CFMoto motorcycle model is the naked 250NK.

According to the latest reports, a newer redesigned production-ready CFMoto 250NK has just been spotted on Chinese type-approval documents. Speaking of the bike, the styling is a clear step forward and takes inspiration from the firm’s 2017 V.02-NK concept. As we all know, CFMoto and KTM formed an alliance a few years back which means CFMoto’s latest models are usually styled by KTM’s favoured design company, KISKA.

Starting with the design, the headlight design remains fairly similar to the current 250/300 NK. However, the bodywork design has been revised in certain areas. The spied model features a new fuel tank cover, radiator cover and air vents.  Besides this, if you look closely, the new NK stands on a new set of rims which appears to be from the CFMoto 250 SF sports bike.

In the case of the mechanical components; the frame, braking and suspension components appear to be carried forward from the ongoing model. Bennetts reports that the type-approval document hints a raise in the engine output from 26hp to 27.5hp. Besides this, sources also suggest the 292.4cc CFMoto 300NK would see similar updates.

These are the details we managed to pick up from the latest leak and reports. To know the full list of updates, we probably would have to wait for CFMoto to officially pull the cover off the bike. Having said that, we think the newer updated model would be unveiled within August 2021 or by the end of this year at least.
