Folks, the much-anticipated middleweight sports bike, the Aprilia RS 660 is soon coming to Malaysia! Here are the booking, pricing and availability details!
Aprilia first unveiled the RS 660 middleweight sports bike concept during ECIMA 2018. A year later, the production model was showcased alongside the updated RSV4 and Tuono V4 at ECIMA 2019. The Aprilia RS660 was initially planned to launch in Q2 2020, however, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Aprilia debut the RS660 just a few months back in October 2020.
In the case of Malaysia, the model was speculated to be launched by the end of 2020, however, because of the pandemic and the delayed global debut, things didn’t quite go according to plans.

Well, things seem to be getting back on track now. Judging from Aprilia Malaysia’s recent Facebook posts, it looks like Didi resources Sdn Bhd (the official distributor of Aprilia) is getting ready to launch the Aprilia RS660. In fact, pre-booking for the Aprilia RS 660 is already open in Malaysia through Didi resources. Meaning, the official launch could be just weeks away. However, with the ongoing MCO, we can’t guarantee much on the launch details.
Speaking of the pre-booking availability, the Aprilia RS 660 can now be booked for as low as RM 1000. We did some digging and we found out the model is expected to be priced around the RM 6X, XXX mark (excluding road tax, insurance and registration fee). Besides the RS660, we noticed the naked Aprilia Tuono 660 being promoted on Aprilia Malaysia’s Facebook page as well. This clearly points to the arrival of the Tuono 660, however, we think the Aprilia Tuono 660 would only be launched in Malaysia after the RS660. Only time will tell.
