2020 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory and RSV4 1100 Factory Launched in Malaysia

Didi Resources Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Aprilia brand launches the 2020 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory and Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory in Malaysia.

Official distributor of Aprilia, Didi Resources Sdn Bhd launches Aprillia’s V4 1100 factory models; the 2020 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory and Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory.  Starting off with the pricing, the basic selling of the 2020 models remain the same as the 2019 models. The 2020 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory comes with a basic selling price of RM 121,000 while the Aprilia RSV4 110 Factory rolls in with basic selling price RM 159,900. Both these models come with 2 years or 20,000 km (whichever comes first) manufacturer’s warranty.

Developed with Aprilia’s experience in racing, the racing pedigree Aprilia RSV4 11000 Factory is one of the most impressive sports bikes on the market. Thanks to the new tech updates and improved performance, the current 2020 Aprilia RSV4 Factory 1100 is faster, lighter and more powerful than ever.

Powered by a 65 degree, V4, 4-stroke engine, the 2020 Aprilia RSV4 Factory 1100 pushes beasty 217 hp at 13,200 rpm and a peak torque of 122 Nm at 11,000 rpm.

Together with the lightweight race-derived chassis and the extensive carbon fibre parts all around; Aprilia has managed to attain an impressive power to weight ratio of 1.2260 hp/kg for 2020.  As for the electronic package, APRC System (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) includes; Traction control (ATC), wheelie control (AWC), launch control (ALC), cruise control (ACC) and speed limiter (APT).


Aside from this, the RSV4 1100 Factory gets a semi-active suspension, developed in collaboration with Öhlins. The new Smart EC 2.0 system co-developed by Aprilia and Öhlins claimed to cut lap times on average by 0.5sec. Aside from this, this new suspension drastically improves rideability and handling as well.


The 2020 RSV4 1100 Factory packs many other top-shelf parts which include; a titanium slip-on exhaust from Akrapovic, brakes from Brembo as well as a set of lightweight forged aluminium wheels.


Aprilia offers the 2020 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory in the matte black Atomic Racer colour scheme with a racing livery. In Malaysia, the 2020 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory now comes with a basic selling price of RM 159,900 (excluding taxes, insurance and registration fee).

Introduced in 2002, Aprilia’s naked Tuono range of motorcycle take their DNA from the brand’s RSV line of superbikes. Featuring several upgrades and improvements; the 2020 Tuono V4 1100 Factory is one of the most exclusive versions of the Tuono that’s currently available in the market. The 2020 Tuono V4 1100 Factory features a series of RSV4 inspired carbon fibre details as well as a class-leading Öhlins semi-active suspension system compared to the standard model.

The Öhlins semi-active advanced electronic suspension system assures a great performance and precision on both the track and street.  Aside from this, the Tuono V4 1100 Factory’s electronic package, APRC System features (Aprilia Performance Ride Control); Traction Control
(ATC), wheelie Control (AWC), launch control (ALC), cruise control (ACC) and speed limiter (APL).

Powered by Aprilia’s longitudinal 65 degree, V4, 4-stroke engine; the Tuono V4 1100 Factory produces a whooping 175 hp and 120.6 Nm of peak torque. Combined with the lightweight aluminium dual beam chassis, the Tuono V4 1100 Factory weighs just 184 kg dry.

For 2020, Aprilia offers the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory in one colour scheme, Atomic Racer black. As for the pricing, the Aprilia Tuono V4 rolls in with a basic selling price of RM 121,000 (excluding taxes, insurance and registration fee).
