Britten Motorcycle announces the 2nd generation 1:12 Britten V1000 Scale model for next year, 2021! Here is everything you need to know!
For the Britten fans, collectors and model builders, here is a piece of good news! Britten Motorcycle announces the confirmation of a new 1:12 2nd generation Britten V1000 scale models for 2021. Limited to just 2000 units, the previous first-generation Britten V1000 scale models went on sale nearly ten years ago. If you are a scale model builder or a collector, you would know the demand for the original 1st-gen Britten V1000 model kit.
The 1st gen Britten V1000 scale model kit was initially sold for $300 but a year ago a Britten V1000 scale model kit was sold for nearly $1,000 because of its rarity and demand.
2nd Generation Britten V1000 Scale Model
Britten Motorcycle just announced the re-release of the model kit for 2021 because of the high level of interest and demand among Britten fans, collects and model builders alike. Britten says the 2nd generation model kit will be going into production soon and that they will employ new technologies to offer the highest level of details. The new Britten V1000 2nd generation scale model would combine resin-photo-etch and of course, metal parts.
Britten announced they are currently in the design stage and that they are aiming to release the new model kit by mid-2021. Speaking of the new model kit, there will be a few V1000 specification differences/updates from the previous edition. Specifically, the design changes that took place on the real bike following the launch of the 1st edition model kit. The new kit will be offered in Britten’s favourite blue and pink and also in black and yellow CR&S race livery with matching decals where each unit will be individually numbered just like the previous edition.
Britten also announced there will be a special collector’s initial run of 10 units. In this initial run, each unit will be numbered from 1-10; to match the actual ten final edition Britten V1000s motorcycles. Britten will also provide a certificate acknowledging their number and the real Britten V1000 motorcycle that they are paired to.
