Launched back in 2019 during the Malaysian GP at Sepang, Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd announces the Benelli Imperiale 400 would be distributed to all Benelli authorized dealerships starting this week!

Benelli Imperiale 400 Malaysia

The Benelli Imperiale 400 was launched back in 2019 during the Malaysian GP at Sepang. The new Benelli Imperiale 400 is much loved by classic motorcycle lovers, especially for its design and style.  The Operation General Manager of MForce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd, Asri Ahmad says the Benelli Imperiale 400 received an overwhelming response locally in Malaysia since the launch last year. Starting January 2020, a total of 100 units of the Benelli Imperiale 400 have been booked by customers; however, they had to wait for some time because of the COVID-19 pandemic which delayed the distribution of the Benelli Imperiale 400. “We sincerely apologize for those who have waited a long time to get their motorcycles after reservations due to the spread of the pandemic COVID-19 that hit to our country recently”, Asri Ahmad added.

Well, here is the good news! Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd announces the Imperiale 400 would be distributed to all authorized Benelli dealerships starting this week!

Aside from this, Mforce reports the Benelli Imperiale 400 is expected to be sold out by end of this year resulting in achieving the company’s annual sales target of 300 units based on the orders received.

Benelli Imperiale 400 Specs

The Benelli Imperiale 400 gets its inspiration from the classic Benelli-MotoBi model from the 1950s. From the design of the round headlamp and the teardrop tank to the tail section and exhaust; the Benelli Imperiale 400 screams retro! However, modern touches like analogue cluster with digital TFT LCD display balances out both creature comfort we need and the retro design we love.

In the case of the engine, the Benelli Imperiale 400 features a 374cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with SOHC and fuel injection. Mounted to a 5-speed gearbox; the Imperiale 400 puts out 20.7 hp at 5,500 rpm and a peak torque of 29Nm at 4,500 rpm.

Suspension duties are taken care by 41mm telescopic fork at the front and dual shocks (with adjustable pre-load) at the rear. As for the rims, the spoked rims are different in diameters at the front and rear; The Imperiale 400 comes with a 19-inch rim at the front and an 18-inch rim at the rear.
