Kawasaki Indonesia postpones the launch of ZX-25R / ZX25R because of the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. The Organisers made this announcement through their Youtube channel.
We all have been waiting on the launch of the 250cc inline-four Kawasaki ZX-25R eagerly. The Kawasaki ZX-25R was initially set to launch during Kawasaki bike week on the 4th April 2020 in Indonesia. However, the launch has been postponed by the organizers due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Kawasaki Indonesia made the announcement on their Youtube channel with the following message.
“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to announce the cancellation of our plan to display Ninja ZX-25R at Kawasaki Abdul Muis Showroom on April, 4th 2020.”
“This is a form of our concern for public health and the social and physical distancing rules imposed by the government”
“We hope all Kawasaki Lovers can understand about this matter and keep waiting for this long-awaited product.”
The Kawasaki ZX25R / ZX-25R was unveiled at the Tokyo Motorshow last year and it took the internet by storm. With the introduction of this model, Kawasaki plans to bring back their 80s inline-4 icon, the ZX250R. Since the debut, Kawasaki has been teasing us with numerous videos and photos of the ZX-25R. As of now, according to leaks and rumours, the ZX-25R produces over 55Hp from the mighty 250cc in-line four engine which would be coupled with a six-speed gearbox.
