The 2019 EICMA reaches its last day today on November 11. Thus far, the event has seen many of the latest impressive concepts and bikes that will be due for launch in the nearest future. Some of the most interesting concepts that have been displayed include the Bimota Tesi H2.
The Bimota Tesi H2 is the first hub-steered supercharged sportbike from the Italian brand Bimota. The brand has just commenced its new partnership with Kawasaki. The Japanese brand has recently acquired a 49.9 per cent stake in Bimota. Therefore, all future Bimota bikes will be featuring Kawasaki engines. The Bimota Tesi H2 comes with an engine that is based on the 998cc supercharged engine of the Kawasaki Ninja H2. The engine is able to produce 227 bhp.

The bike features a bespoke Bimota double swingarm chassis that mounts the engine. The front part of the bike is rather unique as it separates the steering and suspension. It has two semi-active Ohlins shocks for the rear suspension. With the hub-steering, the bike will have a narrower front end with virtually no suspension drive.
It is unclear what is the full specifications of the bike but it is speculated to be within the range of 250 to 270 bhp. The bike will be of a limited edition model and its pricing is unknown. It is expected to be available in June 2020.
