Ducati Monster 1200 S goes full black

The Borgo Panigale based manufacturer shows us the new colour variant of the Monster 1200 S. Monster is the new black!

While the biggest Ducati new models will be revealed in November, the Borgo Panigale based manufacturer decided to reveal the first 2020 model. The Monster 1200 S won’t get any upgrades in the specs, but will be available in a brand new colour.

Ducati says that the new full black colour scheme is called “Black on black”.

As the name implies, this means that Ducati will make available the Monster 1200 S in a mix of black tones. Some parts of the naked bike will be matte black, others will be covered in brilliant black creating a great contrast.

The only other colour Ducati will use on the new Monster 1200 S is red: the machined wheels get a red accent.

Besides this “Black on Black” colour scheme, Ducati will continue to offer the Monster 1200 S in Ducati Red for those of you that prefer the classic colours.

This is just a design upgrade for 2020. As for new models, Ducati will start revealing them in a few weeks in a special event at Misano. Then, in early November, Ducati will reveal their full lineup at the EICMA show in Milan.
