Tacita proves impressive battery longevity with 75,000 miles and counting

Electric bike enthusiasts often tend to worry about the range and how long can the battery of the bike last, considering it is expensive to replace. Italian electric motorcycle manufacturer Tacita is here to shove those worries away as they have come up with batteries that are designed for longevity. Tacita has managed to cap approximately 75,000 miles on one of its test bikes. The bike still runs with the same battery and is still capable of producing a quality performance. The battery went through more than 1,700 recharge cycles during its test.  Tacita used the battery on the electric bike that was the first ever to compete in the Merzouga Rally in Morocco. The bike raced in several other races. and was then the battery was transferred to other bikes. It has been in the same one since 2014.
