BMW Motorrad is back at it again! This time, the riders are dominating the challenging races in Slovakia and Italy!

FIM European Superstock 1000 Cup

It was a swell weekend indeed for BMW Motorrad as the BMW S 1000 RR managed to score its very first race of the FIM European Stock 1000 Cup on Saturday, courtesy of Arnaud Friedrich of Team LRP Poland. TME Racing’s Dominik Juda managed to finish third to make it to the podium. Teammate and compatriot Michal Šembera clocked his run at ninth place. On Sunday, Friedrich scored another podium win as runner-up whereas Juda was fourth and Šembera came in ninth again. The Slovakia Ring near Bratislava hosted the inaugural weekend for the championship.

Alpe Adria International Motorcycle Championship

The Slovakia Ring also hosted the Alpe International Motorcycle Championship (AA) this year. On Saturday, Fany Gastro BMW Motorrad’s Karel Hanika cruised his way to victory with his BMW S 1000 RR. Teammate Ondřej Ježek trailed behind at second place. Bertl K. Racing’s Christopher Kemmer came in at ninth place on Saturday. In Race Two on Sunday, Ježek came in second place whereas Kemmer finished in seventh place. Hanika, on the other hand, failed to finish.

Italian Superbike Championship

BMW also managed to score stellar results in Italy. In the 2019 Italian Superbike Championship (CIV) at Mugello, Roberto Tamburini from Cherry Box 24 Guandalini Racing team became the highest-placed BMW rider, coming in fourth in the race. DM Racing’s Matteo Baoicco came in seventh and teammate Luca Vitali finished at eighth. Tutapista Corse’s Christian Gamarino and VFT Racing’s Fabio Menghi also capped the top ten for the first race. As for the second race, Baoicco came in sixth whereas Vitali and Gamarino came in seventh and eighth respectively.

Italian National Trophy 1000

As for the Italian National Trophy 1000, also at Mugello, the BMW racing family saw yet another podium. Luca Salvadori or Berclaz Racing Italia secured a sterling finish at second place. Michale Fabrizio took his RR past the chequered flag in fourth place whereas Francesco Cocco came in fifth.
