Alpinestars reveals the Supertech R Kenny Roberts Sr. limited edition boots

The three-time world champion Kenny Roberts Sr. gives his name to a very special and limited edition Alpinestars Supertech R boots.

A pair of boots for race-use it’s always going to be something special right from the start, but when Alpinestars says that they’ve got a new limited edition version of their top of the line Supertech R boots, then we start to be really interested to see what the famed motorcycle accessories brand has to offer.

At the last GP of the Americas in Austin, Texas, Alpinestars took the opportunity to reveal the Supertech R Kenny Roberts Sr. limited edition boots, now available through selected retailers boasting the colors and logo that were made famous in the world scene by “King Kenny” himself.

The Supertech R boots are made from technical microfiber upper to allow more flexibility while the rider changes position on the bike. Protection comes courtesy of the TPU shin protection that was designed to wrap around the calf, while the bio-mechanical ankle brace allows the rider to move the foot with more freedom than normal race boots, but stops the foot from rotation too much in case of an accident.

The Alpinestars Supertech R Kenny Roberts Sr. limited edition boots come with special black, yellow colors, and the famous white eagle logo. Next to the heel plate slider, which is replaceable, each boot gets the “King Kenny” signature for added value.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
