In case you missed out, Lightning Motorcycles has released a teaser image of its new high-performing, fully liquid-cooled electric motor. The new Lightning Strike bike is set to be fully revealed in March but this new teaser is set to keep us going. The image features the bike’s headlights with some specs written: 240km range, 240km/h top speed, 35-minute DC charge, $12,998 starting price. It is not much of a surprise considering that Lightning Motorcycles claims a top-notch performance with its electric motors. Electric motors churn out plenty of heat, just as much as gasoline engines do.

The three orange high-voltage cables seem to connect to a three-phase brushless motor. There is also Öhlins suspension which can be seen on the top left of the picture. The Lightning Strike’s electric motor carries a resemblance of the one in the LS-218 sports bike.
