We might be distracted by Christmas, but that didn’t stop us from spotting one new motorcycle that will soon hit the road! According to a patent file, Indian has a new project in hands and the bike will be called Raven.
At this moment in time, we only have the name to go by, Raven, but since revealing the new flat track derived FTR 1200 a few months back at INTERMOT, Indian also confirmed that the specific FTR 1200 V-twin engine will be used in several different models in the near future.
Pumping out a power of 120 hp and a claimed 115 Nm of torque, this engine is installed on an also new tubular steel frame, and Indian decided to take a more techno approach to the FTR 1200 by using different techniques for this build, including the positioning of the under the seat fuel tank.
There’s nothing more than the Raven name on the patent file that Indian filed just a week ago in America, but considering that the brand is known for its cruisers, we can expect the iconic American brand to roll out a future-oriented cruiser or roadster based on the FTR 1200.
