MotoGP champion Marc Marquez decided to do a surgery on his injured shoulder during this Winter break, but he’s not the only Spaniard to do so. New Repsol Honda rider and Marquez teammate Jorge Lorenzo, also went to the hospital to have a surgery on his foot.
At the Aragon GP, where Lorenzo and Marquez clashed in the first corner leaving Lorenzo out of action, the Spanish rider suffered and injury on his right foot and managed to conclude the racing season without going through surgery on the foot, even though he suffered a lot of physical problems.
Only now the Honda rider spent some time in Barcelona’s Institute Dexeus, where Dr. Javier Mir attended him and corrected what was wrong with his right foot, the procedure went as expected, so Jorge Lorenzo should be at 100% when the 2019 MotoGP season starts.
