The 2019 Zero Motorcycles lineup is as greater as ever! The models get impressive upgrades and they certainly do not disappoint. One of the main upgrades is a new and improved Zero Motorcycles DSR. The Zero Motorcycles DSR dual-sport now comes equipped with new standard equipment like a dual-sport windscreen, tank grips and hand guards and it also has a 12V accessory socket.
The Zero S and Zero Motorcycles DS models now get more power from the standard ZF7.2 battery, with the horsepower going up 35 percent and top speed is now 8 percent higher. The models also come with an option to upgrade to the ZF14.4 power pack, which features a max range of 223 miles in the city and 112 miles in the highway.
The firm has come up with a Long Term Storage Mode in order to optimize battery health. It can regulate the battery’s state of charge to further improve long term battery health.
Not to mention, there will be new color schemes for the 2019 range, including Dune and Rhino Gray for the FX and FXS dirt bikes, Jet Black and Black Metallic for the S and SR naked street bikes and Sandstone and Caldera Metallic for the Zero Motorcycles DS and Zero Motorcycles DSR dual-sports.
“At Zero Motorcycles, we’ve defined the electric motorcycle industry over the past 13 years by developing a diverse lineup that features the world’s most power and energy dense EV tech,” said CEO Sam Paschel.
“Having sold more electric motorcycles annually than all our competitors combined, we continue to be driving force behind two-wheeled electrification. This is going to be a very exciting year for Zero Motorcycles.”
