While we all consider electric vehicles, and motorcycles especially, the future of mobility, BMW Motorrad is already thinking ahead, and their research and development department have been working with autonomous bikes, a special project that we now see already in its working phase.
On a test track, the German manufacturer showed what an autonomous R1200 GS can do, and the bike moved by itself, controlled only by the algorithms inside its computer, going around corners and even stopping without falling to its side!
BMW Motorrad isn’t the only brand working on autonomous motorcycles, and if you recall, Yamaha has already shown what they can do with the famous MotoBot that raced Valentino Rossi on track.
