Curtiss Motorcycle has recently announced its upcoming all-electric flagship model named Hera. Apart from Zeus, Hera joins the bandwagon of its lineup of Hellenic “Hot Rod Gods”, based on the the Gods of ancient Greek mythology.
“With Hera, we set out to create the world’s most luxurious motorcycle. Featuring the world’s first V8 battery architecture, an ultra-powerful, yet refined, E-Twin motor, and a 66-inch wheelbase, Hera will occupy a class all her own,” said Curtiss Chairman and CEO Matt Chambers.
Hera is said to be inspired by Glenn Curtiss’ land speed record-setting 1907 V8 motorcycle, according to Curtiss Design Director Jordan Cornille. The bike is iconic considering it paved the way for Glenn Curtiss to claim the title “Fastest Man on Earth” with an impeccable record of 136.3mph on Ormond Beach in Florida.
The Hera fearures eight “cylinders” of high-density lithium-ion batteries. It is able to deliver even greater speed than the V8 bike. It exerts luxury but also provides a performance that will not disappoint the riders. It features a low stance to accentuate its classic and sensual proportion.
Curtiss Motorcycle Company (OTC:CMOT) has set sights on a new golden age of sustainable motorcycles with their amazing electric motorcycles.
