Navigation systems usually come in a variety of designs and with lots of different options, and that might be a little too much for some riders. So, back in 2015, startup Beeline Moto decided to do som,ething about it, and they’ve started working on a GPS gadget especially made to make our life easier when on a motorcycle.
Beeline Moto started a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign recently, and since it started it only took 10 hours to reach their goal. Now, the company is getting more attention then they’ve expected, and for good reasons!
The GPS system from Beeline is simple, practical and not very expensive.
This startup doesn’t believe in complicated instructions, so the GPS interface is just a big arrow pointing to the destination, and then it shows the rider where to turn next using an on-screen dot, while also showing the distance until the next turn.
The GPS unit is attachable to the motorcycle handlebars, comes with a battery that lasts for 30 hours with one full charge, while the casing is waterproof and impact resistant, so you can use it without any fear of damage.
The Beeline Moto GPS system also comes with an app, for iOS and Android, that pulls information from Google Maps, and will let anyone upload some of their favorite journeys so everyone can enjoy those journeys on a motorcycle.
Beeline Moto is still waiting for more funding on this project, but things look to be on the right path for them, and when it eventually goes into production, this simple and practical GPS for motorcycles will cost around RM795.
