Bajaj Auto has confirmed the launch of the KTM 390 Adventure in 2019 and this time, the Indian manufacture has also announced that the KTM-owned Husqvarna motorcycle will be making its debut in the country in the same year as the said launch.
One of the biggest market in Asia, India is the greatest platform for manufacturers to introduce new brands considering the demand for motorcycles is relatively high as it is one of their main commute. The firm will be taking on a completely new direction to make Husqvarna a good selection for the Indian premium bike market.
The Swedish outfit has revised its ownership few times in the past over the years and its roots can be traced back to 1903. KTM Group made a purchase in in 2013 from BMW. They then begin to work together to develop the Svartpilen 401 and the Vitpilen 401.
KTM has stated that the motorcycles will be produced in India and will be positioned at a premium over the KTM bikes, bringing forth a higher price compared to the firm.
