Bridgestone A41 tyre now fitted as OE on all BMW R1200 GS

BMW Motorrad chose Bridgestone’s Battlax A41 adventure tyres to be fitted as original equipment on all R1200 GS and GS Adventure bikes

Developed to inspire confidence in all-weather conditions and with adventure riding in mind, the new Bridgestone Battlax A41 tyre guarantees all year long performance due to use of new design elements and tyre construction technologies like the monospiral belt that allowed Bridgestone to reduce tyre weight, maximize impact absorption and improve riding comfort.

All these features made BMW Motorrad chose the Battlax A41 as original equipment (OE) tyres for their popular R1200 GS and GS adventure bikes, and also for the new F750 GS and F850 GS.

The new adventure tyre from Bridgestone also features bigger blocks for better mileage, and a center thread design to give better traction and stability in a straight line, even at high speeds and with the motorcycle fully loaded. The tyres, both front and rear, have a multi-layer compound with three different types of compounds, aimed at maximizing grip at all times.

And for those rainy days, Bridgestone developed a new shoulder thread design to give better water drainage, and also worked on a new softer compound enriched with silica, that guarantees that even at maximum lean angles the Battlax A41 offers the best grip possible and feedback to the rider, boosting confidence.

The Bridgestone Battlax A41 tyre is also available as a replacement option, in 16 different sizes.
