For all you Triumph fans out there, your lucky day is here as it has been spotted that Triumph was testing out their two new Scrambler prototypes. The bikes seem to be equipped with 1200cc Bonneville engines and definitely seems to give out a more off-road vibe as compared to the 900cc Street Scrambler.
The new bike, namely the 2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200 looks the same as the 900cc version. The test bikes seem to contain a larger engine since there are dual front brake discs which are mainly reserved for more powerful motorcycles. They also feature radial-mount Brembo calipers instead of the Nissins that are mostly present in the Bonneville range of bikes.
Suspension wise, it is much longer than the 900cc Scrambler. The dual rear remote reservoir Öhlins shocks are equipped with second helper springs fixed to a new cast aluminum swingarm. Not to mention, the long fork seems to have a longer rake angle connected to a 21-inch front wheel.
The 2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200 is likely to make its debut this coming Fall in several motorcycle shows, mainly EICMA and Intermot. Stay tuned for the updates!
