Yamaha Ego Avantiz refreshed for 2018 with new colours – blue, yellow and red

For 2018, official distributor Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) has refreshed the Yamaha Ego Avantiz with the introduction of a new range of colour schemes. Potential customers can now choose from three colour choices – blue, yellow and red. Mechanical changes remain the same for the popular urban commuter.

The Yamaha Ego Avantiz comes powered by a 125cc, air-cooled SOHC, single-cylinder engine with Yamaha’s Blue Core technology. Said mill produces a total of 9.3 hp at 8,000 rpm and 9.6 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Power gets to the rear wheel via a multiplate clutch and an automatic gearbox.

Other technical specifications include a seat height of 773 mm while the bike itself weighs 96 kg. The fuel tank is capable of holding a maximum capacity of 4.2 litres. Braking power comes courtesy of a single disc in front paired to a rear drum.

The Yamaha Ego Avantiz rides on 14-inch wheels wrapped in 70/90 tyres up front and 90/80 tyres at the rear. Best part of the 2018 refresh? The 2018 Yamaha Ego Avantiz is priced at RM5,717 including GST – exactly the same price as the previous year. The new motorcycle is available at Yamaha dealers from this week onwards.
