If you own a Harley and living in the USA, you should definitely read this. Harley-Davidson is recalling several model years of its motorcycles due to potential braking problems.
The affected motorcycles are namely the 2008-2011 Touring, CVO Touring and VRSC models. The bikes are equipped with antilock brake systems (ABS) and if riders do not properly maintain it, a braking issue may arise.
The firm is concerned that riders may not process the important of flushing the DOT 4 brake fluid at least two years in order to prevent deposits from forming on brake components. Therefore, the recalls are to replace it and provide free brake-fluid flush.
The recall is expected to begin in February 12 2018.
