The three-wheeled Kawasaki Concept J motorcycle was introduced in the Tokyo Motor Show in 2013 and its spotlight lingered only for a while before the brand laid low about the bike and everyone assumed that the bike’s fame was just history. However, just recently, Kawasaki’s US arm posted a video that features the Concept J, signaling upcoming promotions.
When first introduced, the Concept J presented itself with a choice of sportbike or and urban cruiser and amazed the crowd with its unique tri-wheeler concept. The segment has taken the industry to a whole new level and more brands seem to be emerging with the same idea, such as the Yamaha Tri-City and three-wheeled Niken.
“The Concept explores the attractive possibility of an adaptable transport platform that is fun, easy and convenient,” said Kawasaki President Shigehiko in the 2003 Tokyo Motor Show.
Currently, the dialogue says: “The future, to us, isn’t constrained by today’s limitations. It is set free by our imaginations.”
We certainly can’t wait!
