If you’re a fan of The Beatles, you would want to drop everything and give this a read.
The late John Lennon’s motorcycle will be auctioned at the National Motorcycle Museum in England this coming March. The Honda Monkey-Trail Bike XUC 91H motorbike will be up for £30,000 at the auction.
Lennon had passed away in 1980 at the age of 40 after being shot and killed his Manhattan apartment building. The bike was sold to Henry Graham in 1971 and then to John Harington, who is the current vendor. Harington has kept the bike for 47 years.
Naturally we are thrilled to be entrusted with the marketing and sale of this bike, given its extraordinary provenance,” said Mark Bryan, head of sales for the auction house’s motorcycle department.
