Yamaha marks an increase in sales on the international level

Great news for Yamaha as the firm’s sales in the US seems to be taking an upward growth.
The Yamaha overall international sales portray optimistic results and it has reported a 6.6 per cent increase in net sales of motorcycles for the first half of 2017.

The Asian market saw a majority increase in unit sales, thriving in Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand and Taiwan but a slump in Indonesia. Net sales rose and operating income increase significantly due to the improvements and cost reductions.

In Europe, the sales were similar to last year whereas in North America, sales went down due to the lack of demand. Net sales were similar to the figures last year due to improvements.
