In case you missed out, the UK government has announced a ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles from the year 2040 onward in order to deal with the ever-rising air pollution problems.
The act of banning the said vehicles is said to be a platform to end the prevalence of the internal combustion engine in automotive transport.

UK is not the first country to do so, it is claimed that France had advanced to this plan as well.
“For all the congestion-busting abilities of motorcycles and the abilities to make electric bikes I think it’s a tremendous stimulus for the motorcycle industry,” said Steve Kenward, CEO of the Motorcycle Industry Association.
“It’s a tremendous commercial trigger to push on with electric motorcycles.”
Not to mention, motorcycles made before 2007 are already set to be hit by a £12.50 daily pollution toll for entering London from 2020, according to the local newspapers.
