Atlanta Concours d’Elegance to feature vintage motorcycles
The second annual Atlanta Concours d’Elegance will be hosting a great collection of vehicles for car lovers and also will be bringing on vintage motorcycles to the game!
Last year’s event took place at the Chateau Elan Winery and Resort and this time, the event will be returning to the same place again with over 150 cars in competition and 200 cars on display.
A new motorcycle class will be curated by John Landstrom, the owner of Blue Moon Cycle in Norcross, Georgia. An expert in vintage motorcycles, he said made several appearances in “American Pickers” and “Auction Kings” and often writes about classic bikes.
“The evolution of motorcycle design runs parallel to car design — both car collectors and motoring enthusiasts appreciate the art and engineering of classic motorcycles,” said Landstrom.
“There’s a full and active community of riders and riding groups – it only makes sense to tap into this market, which includes a large draw from Georgia, North and South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama. The vintage and antique world they play in only continues to grow.”
