The LYL International Karting Circuit has officially emerged as a new hotspot for youth motorcycle racing in Malaysia. It now serves as a designated venue for the FIM MiniGP Malaysia, SIC Ohvale Junior Championship, and RCB MiniMoto Championship.
The LYL Circuit stands out because its adaptable track design allows organisers to reconfigure it for various racing events. For the FIM MiniGP Malaysia, organisers ZK Racing have finalised a 933-metre layout. It features 10 corners, four right-handers and six left-handers, promising a technically demanding course for riders.
Following the standard format, organisers hold official races on Sundays and schedule unofficial practice sessions on Saturdays. This gives participants a valuable opportunity to fine-tune their preparations ahead of race day.
Adding to the excitement, Round 4 of the championship will host the Rakan Muda | Motoclinic: Ride, Learn & Discover programme, a free, open-to-public initiative aimed at introducing participants to the world of motorcycle racing and safe riding techniques suitable for everyday road use. Attendees will also get the unique chance to ride motorcycles on the LYL circuit under the guidance of professional racers.
Spectator access is free, with grandstand seating and viewing zones available around the circuit. Fans can also watch the races live via the official FIM MiniGP Malaysia YouTube and Facebook channels. Live streaming links will be made available closer to the event.
Don’t miss the special programme “Behind the Helmet…”, airing at 5:00 PM on Saturday, featuring live interviews with young racers, their families, and key figures behind FIM MiniGP Malaysia.
Come witness the next generation of racing stars this weekend at the LYL International Karting Circuit — where future champions are born.
