Aprilia Racing Heads to Brno with Bezzecchi and Martín Set for Action

Aprilia Racing Heads to Brno with Bezzecchi and Martín Set for Action

Aprilia Racing’s Final MotoGP round before summer break marks return to Czech Republic after four years.

Aprilia Racing

Less than a week after the German GP, Aprilia Racing is set to return to action for the twelfth round of the 2025 MotoGP season at the iconic Brno Circuit. This race not only marks the final stop before the summer break, but also the long-awaited return of the Czech venue to the calendar, with the last Grand Prix held there in 2020.

On track for Aprilia will be Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martín. Bezzecchi heads into Brno on a high after clinching a third consecutive sprint podium at the Sachsenring, and is looking to continue his strong momentum aboard the RS-GP25. “I’m really happy to be heading to Brno. It’s a beautiful track and it’s been a long time since we last raced there. I’m satisfied with how things are going, we’re making progress and I’m arriving highly motivated,” said the Italian.

Meanwhile, focused attention will be on Jorge Martín as he makes his much-anticipated return to racing. The reigning World Champion has been sidelined since the opening round in Qatar following a string of injuries. Before being cleared to race, Martín will undergo a mandatory medical check by the MotoGP medical team.

Despite the setback-filled start to his 2025 campaign, Martín remains focused. “I can’t wait to get back on the bike — I’m really happy that this moment has finally arrived. Together with Aprilia, we have a lot of work ahead, but the potential is there.”

The Brno Circuit, located in the Czech Republic, stretches 5.4 km with 14 turns—8 right-handers and 6 left-handers. Known for its fast, flowing layout, the track holds fond memories for Aprilia Racing, particularly through the exploits of Aprilia Ambassador Max Biaggi, who notched multiple wins there across 250cc, 500cc, MotoGP, and World Superbike categories.
