The festive atmosphere of Hari Raya was matched with high-octane excitement as Suzuki Malaysia officially launched the 2025 Suzuki SV650 during the annual AMI-Suzuki Syoknya Raya! Celebration at the MATRADE Exhibition Hall, Kuala Lumpur. The event not only served as the launchpad for Suzuki’s legendary V-twin roadster but also brought together Suzuki motorcycle owners from across the country for a joyous community gathering.
In a major highlight, Suzuki Malaysia also unveiled its new racing division, AMI Suzuki Motorsport (ASM), with the SV650 project laying the groundwork for this exciting motorsport initiative. This effort aims to bridge the passion of Suzuki owners with the brand’s competitive spirit on the racetrack.

The ASM campaign, with Zulfahmi Khairudin as team principal, includes two factory-backed teams: ASM, led by Adam Norrodin, and MSRT, with five riders, including three from overseas.
ASM is set to compete in two major championships: the MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK) in the MSBK1000 category, and MotoMSF in the MSF Superbike category. As part of the unveiling, Suzuki showcased its race-ready GSX-R1000R, enhanced with performance upgrades by Yoshimura Japan, a powerful symbol of Suzuki’s commitment to returning to high-level racing.
To ensure strong performance and professional execution, ZK Racing, led by former Moto3 rider Zulfahmi Khairudin, has been appointed to oversee technical preparation and full team operations throughout the season. With Zulfahmi’s wealth of experience, the collaboration is expected to elevate Suzuki’s presence on the national racing stage.

Adam Norrodin, formerly with Petronas MIE Racing Team in WSBK, has embarked on a new chapter in his racing career by joining AMI-Suzuki Racing Team.
The ASM campaign will feature two factory-backed squads: the main AMI-Suzuki Motorsport (ASM) team, spearheaded by national WorldSBK talent Adam Norrodin, and a satellite outfit, the Mobilub Suzuki Racing Team (MSRT). The MSRT line-up includes five riders, three of whom are international entries, setting the stage for a thrilling and diverse racing season.
With a reinvigorated product and racing strategy, Suzuki Malaysia is clearly positioning itself for both road and track domination, offering its loyal community of riders not just machines to ride, but stories to be part of.
