KTM has rolled out its latest 890 Adventure R Rally and selected customers will get to enjoy an exclusive desert riding experience. Only 700 units will be available for this unit.
KTM, the renowned Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, has once again pushed the boundaries of off-road excellence with the release of its latest off-road masterpiece, the KTM 890 Adventure R Rally. This limited-edition motorcycle is geared up to redefine the world of off-road riding.
The Dakar rally is an integral event in the off-road world. This 890 Adventure R Rally brings to life colours and components comparable to the Dakar Rally winning machine 450 Rally bike.
Only 700 units of this exclusive bike will be available worldwide starting September 20, 2023.
This is by far the most expensive bike ever from KTM at a staggering £20,899 (MYR121,916.86). Ready for pre-order from Wednesday onwards, 34 lucky customers will stand a chance to take part in the Ultimate KTM Desert Experience.
Lucky customers will have the option to go on 3-7 March and 7- 11 March 2024. They can expect technical support, luxury accommodation, and even a night camping in the desert.
Powering the 890 Adventure R Rally is an 889cc parallel twin engine. It is capable of generating 105 hp at 8,000 rpm and 100 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Riders can expect a comfortable and customizable riding experience thanks to the innovative set-up. It guarantees a high level of damping in the toughest conditions. The Akrapovic ‘Slip-on Line’ silencer assures less noise and enjoy a peaceful scenic experience.
For uncompromised control and comfort, KTM has equipped the WP PRO Components suspension. Not only that, but it also comes with a WP XPLOR PRO 7548 fork with Cone Valve technology. It boasts similarities to the one used by the factory riders of the KTM Factory Racing Team. The fully adjustable WP XPLOR PRO 6746 monoshock ensures riders can fine-tune their suspension settings to match their preferences.
KTM understands the importance of the riders staying connected and aware during off-road adventures. Now, riders can connect their mobiles to a five-inch TFT display providing turn-by-turn navigation.
