Boon Siew Honda has already introduced the Honda Vario 125 for the local market with an official selling price of RM7,080.
The launch was already expected after BSH previously shared the ‘teaser’ not long ago. For the local market, three colours are available including Yellow, Blue and Red.
Interestingly, this Honda Vario 125 comes with the same design as the Vario 150. However, this new model comes with a smaller and more compact engine. As a result, the latest scooter features a SOHC single-cylinder engine with fuel injection and liquid cooling. It is capable of producing 11.5hp and 11.74Nm.
Despite appearing with a small engine, this 125cc variant still maintains modern features. We can see this via the front and rear LED lights and the smart-key system. This bike also comes with a USB charger and an ‘anti-theft’ system.
The wheels are equipped with 14-inch front and rear rims with 90/80 front and 100/80 rear tires. Just like the previous Vario 150, this 125cc version only comes with CBS brakes with rear drum brakes and a single disc in front.
The appearance of the Vario 125 indirectly completes the three Vario models available in Malaysia, the Vario 150 and the latest Vario 160. However, BSH has already discontinued the production of the Vario 150 and replaced it with the Vario 160.
