Didi Resources Sdn Bhd introduces two Vespa scooters for 2020 in Malaysia; Vespa Primavera S Special Edition 150 and Vespa Sprint S 150.

Didi Resources Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Vespa scooter in Malaysia launches two sporty and stylish scooters; Vespa Primavera S Special Edition 150 and Vespa Sprint S 150 for 2020.

“It is our utmost priority to deliver the best, latest Vespa products to our loyal customers. We are proud to announce on top of the latest models, our pricing for parts and accessories have also been adjusted lower and this is one part of many initiatives to provide greater value to our customers moving forward” mentioned Mr Rewi Hamid Bugo, Chairman Didi Resources Sdn Bhd.

The first bike to join the lineup is a special edition of Vespa’s most stylish Primavera. Vespa says the sporty and brave characteristics of the Primavera S takes a leap with this model.

This model is strongly characterised by the dark grey shield edge, crest, rims, tire, rear and front light frames. The Primavera S Special Edition 150 comes in two colours: Orange Tramonto and Grey stile.

Furthermore, sport stickers contrasting with the colour of the body: dark/light grey on the  Orange Tramonto and orange/grey on Grey Stile gives more charm to the bike. On top of this, the black saddle with orange sitting and orange horn cover echos the boldness of the special edition Primavera S.

The Vesa Primavera S Special Edition comes with 12” five-spoke aluminium alloy rims. This provides greater stability, improved safety and control on all surfaces and road conditions. As for the safety side, LED front and rear lamps with LED day time running light, immobilizer and front disc brake with ABS on the bike keeps you and your bike in check.  For convenience, just like the Primavera S range, the special edition also comes with a USB charging port for charging electronic devices.

The Primavera S featured a modern air-cooled one-cylinder four-stroke 150cc iGet engine. This engine equipped with electronic injection and 3-valve distribution pushes 12.9 hp @ 7,700 rpm and 12.8 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. Vespa says each detail from the exhaust to the transmission were designed to provide a smooth, quiet and comfortable ride. The iGet environmentally-friendly engine performs top of their category with extremely low fuel consumption.

As for the pricing, the Vespa Primavera S Special Edition 150 is available from RM18,300; with a dedicated stunning colour range; Orange Tramonto (Glossy) and Grey Stile (Matt).

Vespa Sprint S 150

The second model is the updated version of the youngest and sportiest Vespa Sprint. Vespa says the Sprint S further accentuates Vespa Sprint’s sporty styling and designed for most competitive attitude.

To highlight the Sprint S, there are 3 striking new colour combinations: Black Opaco and White Innocenza, sided by the best-seller Grey Materia. These stunning new colours come with sporty stickers and details in glossy red to echo the sportiness of the bike. Aside from this, Sprint S keeps its signature red horn cover, sporty decals and red spring. The enhanced seat of the 2020 Sprint S creates an all-round sporty elegance look.

On top of this, Vespa says, the Sprint S 150 is the gutsiest of the Vespa family; adding a series of novelties to the already-sporty Vespa Sprint. The Vespa Sprint S 150 is also the first of its class to mount two  12” rims. The Sprint S 150 also comes with the environmentally friendly 150cc single-cylinder four-stroke i-Get engine.  Vespa has fitted in a barometric sensor to enhance steadiness and reliability when riding around city roads.

In the case of the price of the Vespa Sprint S 150, the pricing starts at RM16,900. Alongside the Primavera S Special Edition, these models are now available at all authorised Vespa dealerships and outlets nationwide.
