Dorna Sports have just announced Oakley as a new partner to the MotoGP eSport Championship for the year 2020. Currently entering its fourth season, the series is garnering lots of attention worldwide. Dorna Sports is a key partner of MotoGP. This new partnership will bring positive change ahead of the qualification phase of the 2020 championship.

The first on-site event of the MotoGP eSport Championship will be taking place at the Gran Premio d’Italia Oakley at Mugello. It is also known as Round 1 presented by Oakley. This will put the eSport and Oakley centre stage as the series commences. The first round of the season will take place around the Italian venue on Friday, May 29. Thus, Oakley will be the title sponsor.

Round 2 will be taking place at the Red Bull Ring on the 14th of August. Next, Round 3 at Misano on the 11th of September before the season finale on the 13th of November in Valencia.

We aim to create an unforgettable season for gamers and fans across the world,” says Ben Goss, Global Marketing Director at Oakley, as quoted from MotoGP.

“I’m very happy about this new agreement with Oakley, who is such an important partner of MotoGP. The fact that they also have products to improve the experience of the gamers makes our partnership even more important for the coming years,” adds Pau Serracanta, Managing Director of Dorna Sports.
