Moto Guzzi has long voiced out its interest in entering the midweight adventure market with the all new V85 concept ever since the EICMA show in Milan last year. Such would be the firm’s first attempt on entering the Enduro platform since its 1200cc Stelvio at Euro4.
The V85 concept a long standing concept that became the center of attention for Moto Guzzi. Few minor changes were expected upon its production. It is reported that the firm is undergoing the final stages of testing for the V85.
The bike features a 100-plus horsepower V-twin driving the ride followed by an adjustable suspension and electronic engine-management gadgetry that was comparable to some of the top current adventure-tour bikes.
It is said that the new bike comes with a fully digital instrumentation and the front LED DRL light series on the front dual-pod headlight breeds a very classic style. Its chassis is completely new in terms of setup- including the lightness, rationality and accessibility- and is made of steel tubes.
The chassis frame is left exposed so that panniers, bags and accessories will get easy mounting points. The bike comes in a paint scheme of yellow and white, which is very old school.
