Apart from acting, Keanu Reeves has a passion for motorcycles and he certainly knows a thing or two about making them.
The Matrix star has made an appearance at the EICMA in Milan not as a celebrity guest, but as one of the participants of the event itself. He has unveiled three new motorcycles that has took part in designing and building over the past few years.
The bikes revealed are the Arch1 and Arch Method 143, as well as and upgraded version of the KRGT-1- something Reeves and bike-designed-by-trade Grad Hollinger had worked on.
Reeves came up with Arch Motorcycle, which is a shop that he founded with Hollinger. The bikes are not for everyday commute but definitely is a high end performance motorcycle. Arch produces a limited number of bikes annually.
“It’s international, it’s all the journalists and enthusiasts,” said Reeves.
“For us, it’s let’s plant our flag. Let’s go to EICMA with three models, and hopefully people will really love what we make.”
The Arch1 bike is said to be more sports oriented whereas the KRGT-1 is more cruiser-oriented. The Arch1 features a 124 cubic-inch 203cc American V-Twin engine and is Euro 4 compliant.
The pricing and delivery of the bikes is yet to be revealed.
