Self-riding bikes or robots are no stranger to the two-wheeler industry and joining the bandwagon this time is Yamaha Motor Company with their latest ‘Motobot’ robot.

“Over the past three years, we have been fine-tuning Motobot’s skills for path correction and controlling of the bike’s speed, acceleration, deceleration, attitude and more, and finally, Motobot succeeded in hitting over 200 kilometers per hour on the track,” said Hiroyuki Yanagi, President, CEO and Representative Director of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.

he Motobot is certainly has a school of fine skills and has caught up to MotoGP top gun Valentino Rossi’s lap time.

Albeit not being able to defeat it, it has shown a very gap instead, an impressive point of the Motobot. Also, Yamaha Motor’s Leaning multi-wheel or LMW technology can extend up to four wheels.
