Suzuki was one of the manufacturers that made a surprise at EICMA last year when it introduced the all-new Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE.
For the first time ever, the V-Strom is no longer powered by a V-Twin engine but instead powered by a brand new 776cc parallel-twin platform developed in Hamamatsu, Japan.
Suzuki Malaysia will be introducing the brand new ADV motorcycle on May 6 at the Malaysia Autoshow 2023 at MAEPS, Serdang. It also shared a ‘teaser’ on social media claiming that the ‘Master of Adventure’ motorcycle will be unveiled on May 6.

Although it is no longer a V-Twin, the use of a ‘270-degree crank’ configuration ensures that the parallel-twin engine produces a sound note that is almost identical to the V-Twin platform. In addition, this new engine also offers better power by generating 83hp at 8,500rpm and 79Nm at 6,800rpm.
In the meantime, the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE also comes with a complete electronic package including the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS).

SIRS includes ride-by-wire, and four riding modes including Gravel mode, quickshifter, Suzuki Easy Start System and Low RPM Assist.
All information and access to electronic settings can be done through a brand-new coloured TFT meter panel.
Stay tuned for the launch with iMotorbike.
