Front Brake Issues: The setup of the motorcycle might cause the front brake hose to come in contact with the radiator during operation. This could lead to a brake fluid leak, subsequently decreasing the braking force.

As of May 2023, there has been a recall notice issued for the Yamaha YZF-R25 and MT-25 in Malaysia due to a brake issue. The recall was announced by Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) and pertains to the inspection of the ABS hose routing to ensure it aligns with Yamaha’s specifications. The affected frame numbers for the MT-25 are from PMYRG7520N0000101 to PMYRG7520P0001412.
