Breaking News: Fire Destroys 53 Motorcycles and 8 Cars in Gombak PPR!

53 Motorcycles and 8 cars razed in a fire that broke out earlier today at Gombak Setia People’s Housing Project (PPR)!

Early morning fire completely destroys  53 motorcycles and 8 cars which broke out at PPR Gombak  around 5 am today. Free Malaysia Today reports; the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department dispatched firefighters and fire engines to the site after receiving a distress call at 5.05 am. The firemen arrived at 5.15 am and brought the blaze under control in 10 minutes.

“As many as 24 firefighters were dispatched from; Wangsa Maju, Gombak Selatan, and Setapak Fire and Rescue Stations to the scene,” said operations officer Zaid Zainal.

“The fire happened at the parking lot of the housing area and involved 53 motorcycles and eight cars; the motorcycles were completely destroyed while the eight cars were 60% to 80% burnt.”, Zaid Zainal added.

On top of this, according to sources, there were no victims reported. Furthermore, the cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
