Indonesia’s KTM Duke 200 has been spotted with the side-mounted exhaust from the larger Duke 390. Another change is the appearance of a new catalytic converter to the exhaust system. This new bike was seen in the 2018 Indonesia International Motor Show.
Even though the Indonesian bike was manufactured and assembled in India, it is 4.5 kgs lighter than the Indian-spec motorcycle as the latter has larger alloy wheels.
The KTM Duke 200 featured a 199cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine which delivers and output of 25 PS and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. It features a powder-coated tubular space frame made from steel tubes. Both ends of the bike also has disc-brakes with four piston radial calipers in the front and single piston floating caliper at the rear.
The bike weighs approximately 137kg. It is also said to be rivals with the TVS Apache RTR 200 and Bajaj Pulsar NS 200.
