iMotorbike has expanded its community outreach efforts to the northern region with its first-ever CSR initiative in Penang, marked by a visit to PSC Nursing Home (Permai Senior’s Club) in Bukit Mertajam.
The nursing home, which has been operating for eight to nine years, first began in Kota Permai, Bukit Mertajam, before relocating to Taman Niaga Jaya in April 2024. Today, the facility houses around 30 residents across three floors, many of whom are bedridden patients or living with Alzheimer’s and other age-related conditions.
Strategically located just five minutes from Hospital Bukit Mertajam, PSC Nursing Home ensures its residents have access to medical support when needed. The home is run by a dedicated team consisting of Dr. Hans Lim, Manager Ms. Melissa, Physiotherapist Mr. Raj, and a group of trained caregivers and nurses who provide 24-hour care. Residents are also served nutritious meals prepared daily by the home’s in-house cook, Mr. Sunny.
During the CSR visit, the iMotorbike Penang team delivered essential supplies and spent meaningful time at the home, offering support and companionship to the residents and staff. The visit reflects iMotorbike’s growing CSR footprint beyond the Klang Valley, reinforcing its commitment to reaching communities across Malaysia.
This milestone initiative not only marks a new chapter for iMotorbike’s CSR journey in Penang but also highlights the company’s belief that compassion and care should reach every corner of society, especially those who need it most.
