After more than two decades away, the world championship is officially heading back to one of Latin America’s most passionate motorsport markets. The Brazil GP will be making its return under the banner of a familiar name. The event will be known as the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Grand Prix of Brazil, with the Official Beer of MotoGP stepping in as title sponsor for Round 2 of the 2026 season.
The race will be taking plac on 20–22 March at the Autódromo Internacional de Goiânia – Ayrton Senna. The race already has serious momentum, with initial ticket allocations snapped up fast by eager fans hungry for MotoGP’s return.
For Estrella Galicia 0,0, the move is more than branding. It’s strategic.
The Spanish brewing company has deep ties to Brazil. It sees the race as a milestone moment in both its international expansion and its long-standing commitment to motorcycle racing. Beyond being MotoGP’s official beer partner, the brand has built a reputation for backing young riders and nurturing talent from grassroots to world champions.
“Our history in MotoGP goes far beyond sponsorship,” said Ignacio Rivera, Executive Chairman of Corporación Hijos de Rivera. “Brazil is a key country for us. We’re proud to play such an active role in bringing the World Championship back.”
MotoGP CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta echoed that excitement, calling the partnership a natural fit as the championship reopens a crucial market.
And the timing couldn’t be better.
Brazil will have a home hero to cheer for.
Diogo Moreira, a product of Estrella Galicia 0,0’s talent program, arrives in Goiânia as the nation’s newest star. Fresh off becoming Brazil’s first-ever Grand Prix World Champion after clinching the 2025 Moto2 title, the rookie now steps into MotoGP with Pro Honda LCR, ready to race in front of a home crowd.
He won’t be the only success story tied to the brand, either.
Last season alone, Estrella Galicia-backed riders dominated the grid. Marc Marquez completed a stunning comeback to claim another MotoGP crown. On the other hand, Alex Marquez secured a historic 1–2 championship finish. Titles were also won by Moreira in Moto2 and Jose Antonio Rueda in Moto3.
With star power, a sold-out crowd, and a refreshed partnership driving the event forward, Brazil’s comeback round is shaping up to be one of the standout weekends of the 2026 calendar.
Circle the dates. Goiânia is about to get loud again.
